The lady in Red...

I am sitting here with red felt shoes on, complemented by white knee high socks. Carrying on upwards I am wearing a red skirt and top, with tinsel wrapped around my waist, with a bow on my back, and a red and green hat with jingles, on my head.
Well, there are two possible explanations for this...either my dress sense has changed dramatically in the last 24 hours, or I am going to the kids harvest party at TACF dressed as a christmas elf, and I'm doing a trial run this evening.
Yes, the latter is true.
I think it will be fun.
Other than that...this week I am learning about church history. Today we looked at the 3rd and 4th centurys. It's a lot to take in, but it is interesting seeing how things developed, and what happens when people take control, and push God out of their picture. But isn't that so easy to do.....we get afraid, and so we grab the steering wheel and control of everything in our lives, when infact it's safer to trust God to take care of things.
I know I'm guilty of that.

Well, if you're gonna be at the party on Saturday, remember to look out for an elf.... ;o)
