Where is the beef?!
This week at TACF is the 'Catch The Fire' conference and last night Mahesh Chavda was speaking. He shared a story with us about the courting rituals in the polynesian islands.
It goes something like this...the man spots a woman who he wouls like to call his ladyfriend, but first has to seek permission from the lady's father. He does this by bringing a gift, the size of which depends on the lady's lovliness. So, the largest gift ever usually given is a cow. And if perhaps the man in question did unfortunately not see all the inner beauty in his ladyfriend to be, he would give the father some goats or a chicken.
So, I ask Andrew what would he have done?....
Well....I'm worth a whole beef farm!!
I think that's one of the cutest, funniest things ever!

and I'm talking a TEXAS-SIZED beef farm...
;-)
Esther and I are giggling at that at the moment... but are also depressed that there are no men around here that would exchange us for a farm...problem being in Wales if there were such men it would be a sheep farm!!
