Stuff

I haven't been able to write to my family and friends back in England as much as I was planning, so I am going to try and write more stuff on here about what I've been up to and what cool stuff God is doing. Because lets face it, He's always at work, doing good stuff. Wow...I just used the word 'stuff' three times in that sentence. Perhaps I could elaborate my vocab a little bit!!
So this past week has been soooooooooooooooooo busy. Thankfully today is a day off. I really needed it. There was another large conference at TACF this week, and all the students worked as part of the team. My duty was in the kitchens. We were either helping prepare food, or cleaning all the various cooking utensils. Because the cooks were preparing food for hundreds of people at once, it was all done on a large scale. So when they made mashed potato, they used a spoon that looked more like the oar on a boat than anything else!
I chopped a whole box of tomatos....Mum, you would be proud!!!! I had no injuries, there were some close calls with the kitchen knife, but its all ok!
Community living continues to be ok, I thought after having my own room for so long, and loving that space, that it would be really hard for me, but God is giving me so much grace, plus its fun to hang out with loads of young adults.
Its starting to get really chilly here, its getting near to the temperatures that we have in England in the winter, so that's a bit strange. Maybe I should go and buy some thermals....I wonder if I can find some hot pink ones....
