Shopping Queen
I recieved some great news today....I now have a part-time job in the marketing department at TACF. This is especially great news, as I have been in desperate need of provision, so that I can carry on with my Bible course....and this job will pay for half of the fees for the rest of the course (which finishes at the end of June). The marketing dep' is where the 'Spread the Fire' magazine is produced, and the website is produced and updated. So if everything turns pink...you know who to blame!
My great achievement of the day was my sale shopping. I have hardly done any January sale shopping this year, until today. The winter boots that I brought with me were totally falling apart and letting water in...so I needed to replace them. I have been looking and looking but I just haven't been able to find a pair of boots that are pretty and practical. I just cannot quite bring myself to get boots that are practical, yet ugly.So today The Lord answered my cries for help, and I am now the proud owner of a pair of cream suede fur trimmed boots. Well I say fur trimmed...it's more like fur covered (fake fur that is). They are furry from the ankle to the knee. They only cost me $30!!Then to finish off my super successful shopping trip I purchased 2 pairs of ankle boots for a total of $20...that's only 10 pounds!! These ones are more dressy, they are both made of tweed fabric with 2 1/2 inch heels.I certainly am giving a lot of details...but hey, I get excited about clothes/shoes/jewellery.
For the next three weeks I am doing school of the supernatrual. I am not sure what this is going to entail exactly....we shall see. Yesterday the great exodus from the hotel was completed. All 50 (ish) of the 'School of the Heart' students have now gone to various parts of the world for their outreach.
The hotel is now strangely quiet and subdued. We certainly have brought life, in more ways than one, to the hotel. For example the students have been responsible for setting off the hotel fire alarms twice, in the last four months, which automatically sends for 4 fire engines, and firemen running up to our floor, wondering what the trouble is. I must add that both times were accidental!

YAY! Plus, you will be working with some of my favorite people in the universe. Anything is better than making soaking kits, even cleaning toilets is better if you ask me. God is SO faithful...I'm glad he's given this job to you. =)
